Are there more autistic kids now than 10 years ago?

It might look that way, but we’re really just better at recognizing autism.

The definition has expanded, kids are being screened earlier, and more families are finally getting answers.

“My eight-year-old likely wouldn’t have been diagnosed if it wasn’t for her brother being nonverbal.”

That experience opened my eyes in a way I didn’t even know I needed.

Autism has always been here — we just didn’t always catch it.

There’s more help and support now than ever before, but it starts with awareness and reaching out.

And if there’s ever a time patience truly matters…

this is it. 💙
